- Open Word and create a new blank document
- Open the editing document, which you can download by clicking here (if you need assistance, please ask your instructor for help.) Be sure you enable editing when you open the document.
- Now copy and paste all the contents of this file into your document
- Save your document using your name in this format: LastName_FirstName_2020F.
- Use the editing tools to make this document error-free. (spelling and grammar)
- Save and close the file and the word processor you are using.
- Re-open your file.
- Print the document and hand it in to your instructor or send it by email. There is a template for business letter formatting located in the Resources folder.
- Extra practice: You can also try to change the font styles and generally explore the software more.
- Open your document from assignment 1.
- Insert a picture/photo in this document. You can use any picture from the web or use one from your own files. It can be placed anywhere in the document. You may want to adjust the size.
- Set the margins of the page to “Moderate”.
- Save and close the document.
- Show your completed document to your instructor. If you know how to attach a file with an email, then send this document to your instructor.
